Bagno Vignoni – Tuscany – Italy
What a place? So you hear it a lot, the travel writer fawning over a new hotel of luxury, not me, not now and hear is why; no embellishment is needed. This is Tuscany and that is enough said.
There are several hotels in Bagno Vignoni and i have been to them all. I must say, The Posta Marcucci still feels like home to me.
Thermal waters, hilltop scenes, and a staff your mother would love and we have only just begun.
Ask for a corner room with view – if you get there before the wheat harvest, plan on beautiful golden fields adorned with the occasional red poppy, placed in just the right spot as though divine intervention was a Tuscan rule.
As many times as I have been in all the right places in Italy, I can’t help myself, Tuscany is still..well..Tuscany.
Visiting Bagno Vignoni is a must see and a perfect respite for the weary traveler.
