Let’s check in to the Public Hotel in the heart of the Gold Coast (old Playboy mansion neighborhood) walking distance to shops and restaurants on the Magnificent Mile and Michigan Avenue, Lincoln Park and let us not forget nightlifing on Rush Street.
I like this hotel, it is just about all you need. Hats off to IAN SCHRAGER and company for another sleek/hip property. The hotel lobby is surely the setting for the upper indulgent Chicago set but revealing that congers up images of high society and cigar smoking smugery. Nothing could be further from reality as this property fits families as well as high steppers. If you want to be in the scene be my guest but if you want to relax and enjoy, Schrager and his staff have put together the right colors, style, location, and friendly staff to make your stay whatever you desire. Plus, it’s a celebrity star-studded affair to say the least.
It is a brisk morning, so I am off to 900 north michigan ave to do some indoor shopping to get out of and into one of the many hamlets of Chicago consumerism. Six floors of eye catching indulgence.
